At the grand age of ten it was becoming apparent that my very fit Newfoundland boy Maximus was becoming less agile. Maximus had always enjoyed swimming and training in water rescue, but had become less confident in some exercises. Following vet referral, Maximus started underwater treadmill therapy at Country Canines Hydrotherapy Centre under the care of Sian. He absolutely loved it and would queue up at the door of the treadmill waiting to go in! Sian worked with Maximus to improve his joints, gait and core strength. No praise is high enough in my opinion. Sian is incedibly knowledgeable, professional... And it was quite obvious that she genuinely cared. Maximus loved her for it. At the end of our time at the centre, the improvement in Maximus and in his confidence and well being was immeasurable! Right up until the very end of his life he once again enjoyed every aspect of the thing he loved the most which was water training. I will never forget Sian's genuine kindness and dedication in what she achieved with my precious boy

Gruffalo wouldn’t still be with us if it wasn’t for Sian. He was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia at 6 months old, he has arthritis in his spine and nearly 2 1/2 years ago was diagnosed with DCM and given weeks to live. But due in no small part to the support and encouragement from Sian, he is still here and loving life. He absolutely loves Sian, loves the underwater treadmill, and being groomed by Sian is his ultimate luxury. In fact, most days it’s a struggle to get him to leave. We would be lost without her.

I have recommended Country Canines Hydrotherapy several times after I have used both the Hydrotherapy and Treadmill facilities there. The staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and have a lovely rappor with the dogs and owners. I put the longevity of my beautiful Newfoundland Jess reaching 13years due to the treadmill and hydrotherapy sessions she was given. Since then I have rehomed a very overweight St. Bernard Duffy who needed to lose weight quickly and again the knowledge and experience of the amazing staff ensured he lost the weight without compromising his joints. At the same time we also took our young Labrador Kali who loved jumping and swimming in the pool. This was invaluable over the winter to keep her fit and stimulated. If I have any issues with any of my dogs Sian and her team would be my first port of call after a vet referral.

My 5 month old miniature dachshund puppy, Stanley Norman Frank, went along to Sian for a swimming session.
Sian made Stan, and me, feel totally at ease. Thoroughly professional, fantastic facilities, outstanding customer service. Sian’s knowledge and care shines through. We will be back!

Here's Honey ready to enjoy and work hard in the pool. This is a brilliant set up with superb staff - and I write as an ex-veterinary surgeon! Honey has multiple limb problems - lame on three legs out of four and has had treadmill sessions for her hind legs (hip on one side and cruciate injury on the left), then swimming for her left fore. She has been treated with patience, skill and understanding. The hydrotherapy has made a big and positive difference. I have recommended others to get in touch with the centre for their dogs and I will continue to do so.

I have been so impressed by all the staff and the benefits for Doug from his treatment at Country Canines Hydrotherapy. Each visit was always as if Doug was the most important dog to them.

I would not hesitate in recommending Country Canines Hydrotherapy, the treadmill treatment resulted in a rejuvenated happier pain free dog.The kindness of the team will never be forgotten
